Upcoming Events in Georgia

I'm looking forward to three book events in the state where I grew up and the idea for my novel Fall Line originated.

Saturday, May 30: I'll be at the Elbert County Library in Elberton, which is hosting me and artist Lee Allen Wells at 11 a.m. as part of its visitor writer program. Lee's drawing graces the cover of the paperback reissue of Fall Line released this spring by the University of Georgia Press.

I also will be doing two informal book signings. I don't plan to do a presentation at these, but I will hang out and visit with anyone who'd like to stop in and visit for a while.

Tuesday, May 26: I'll be at the Eagle Eye Bookshop in Decatur from 3-5 p.m. Signed copies of Fall Line will be available at the store during my visit and in stock for purchase afterward.

Thursday, May 28: I'll be at the Polk County Historical Society in my hometown of Cedartown from 1–4 p.m. In Cedartown, I'll also have copies of The Golfer's Journal magazine that features "Sanders from Cedartown," about golfer Doug Sanders.
