I'm
very much looking forward to heading back home to Georgia in mid-November for several talks about researching and writing my novel Fall Line.
I'll be presenting in Rome, Cedartown, Kennesaw, and Athens. The
public is welcome to all of these, and only the event in Kennesaw
requires registration.
Thursday, November 14, Rome:
--12:30 p.m., Georgia Highlands College, GHC-Floyd campus library, Three Rivers Room.
--6 p.m. Rome-Floyd County Library, hosted by the Coosa River Basin Initiative (CRBI) and the Rome Area Writers. This will include a presentation by CRBI about proposed reservoirs in the Coosa River basin.
--Friday, November 15, Cedartown: 3 p.m. Cedartown Public Library, 245 East Avenue, "Time, Place, Research, and Rivers," with Amos Tuck from the CRBI.
--Saturday, November 16, Kennesaw: Noon-2 p.m., Room 300, Kennesaw State University Center, 3333 Busbee Drive. Georgia Writers Association Workshop, "Time and Place -- Using Research in Your Fiction."
--Monday, November 18, Athens: 4 p.m. hosted by UGA Libraries, Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room in the Zell B. Miller Learning Center.
