Fall Line Set for October 2011
NewSouth Books of Montgomery, Ala., will publish my novel Fall Line in October 2011 -- not spring as I had hoped and announced, but I'm still more than thrilled to be joining their roster that includes late writers as diverse as Mark Twain and Georgia's Lewis Grizzard, but also the living, like John Pritchard, author of the hilarious and compelling recent novels Junior Ray and Yazoo Blues.

Congratulations Sam! Just be sure the eventually movie doesn't turn out like "Volcano"...not sure why I was stupid enough to get sucked into watching that recently, but "sucked" was the operative word. Look forward to seeing it in print...
